What is included in the price?

The price you are quoted will include the removal of acoustic material, the coating of joints, and nail holes
as well as a modern, clean skip trowel texture.

How messy is this process?

Our process is virtually mess free!  The entire room is covered in plastic - ceiling to floor.  The special
tool we use captures 98% of the acoustic material and the rest is scraped onto the plastic, rolled up and
carried off site.   

How much preparation do I need to do?

We ask homeowners to remove breakable knick knacks, picture frames, candle holders and such from
surfaces.  We also ask that all items be removed from the top shelves of closets that are going to be
scraped.   We do everything else for you!

What about Asbestos?  

Homes built prior to 1978 need to be tested before we can schedule a job.   For testing information,

How long does it take to remove the acoustic and retexture?

Most homes are completed in one day and ready for paint by day three.  

Is wallpaper a problem?

No!  Wallpaper is protected with plastic, paper tape and fine staples.  If you have more questions, please

How do we calculate our square footage?

To calculate the square footage, measure the length of the room and then the width.  Multiply these two
numbers.  Add all the rooms together that you want scraped.  That's it!  If you have a vaulted ceiling, you
will need to measure the actual ceiling or a guesstimate is sufficient.  Keep in mind - if you were to lay a
vaulted ceiling on the floor, it would be larger than the floor.

Most estimates are done over the phone.  Your Acoustic Removal Specialist will verify the
square footage at the job site the day of removal unless otherwise arranged.
